Terms & Conditions

    1. The “December Holiday” promotion advertisement, notice, or pamphlet, received via the website, social media, sms, or in person, merely constitutes an invitation by Car Service City for the consumer to participate in the promotion.
    2. The “December Holiday” promotion shall run from Monday 4 December 2023 to Saturday 16 December 2023. It shall NOT be available at any other time.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

    1. Complete the following steps to stand a chance to win one (1) of ten (10) Takealot vouchers valued at R1 000,00 (one thousand rand):
      • Like the Car Service City “December Holiday” promotion post.
      • Share the the post.
      • Tag three (3) friends.
    2. Each share shall constitute a single entry into the “December Holiday” promotion.

PRIZES

    1. Ten lucky participants will be randomly selected to win one (1) of ten (10) Takealot vouchers to the value of R1 000,00 (one thousand rand).
    2. The winner of the Takealot vouchers will be randomly select and announced on 18 December 2023.
    3. All winners will be announced on the Car Service City’s Facebook and Instagram social media platforms.
    4. The vouchers will only be redeemable in terms of transactions with Takealot and cannot be exchanged for any cash value.

GENERAL

  1. The “December Holiday” promotion is restricted to participants who reside within the Republic of South Africa.
  2. Participation in the “December Holiday” promotion is NOT subject to any entrance fee or administrative costs.
  3. Once a winner is announced, it shall be the responsibility of the selected winner to:
    • Within three (3) business days to contact, respond, and/or provide Car Service City with acknowledgement/acceptance of being selected as a winner, making use of the appropriate social media platform; and
    • Ensure that Car Service City possess a valid and correct email address whereby the winner will accept delivery of the prize.
  4. Should an announced winner fail to contact, respond, and/or provide Car Service City with acknowledgement/acceptance of being selected as a winner within the three (3) day period as set out above, such winner will automatically forfeit the entitlement to such prize for which the winner has been selected to receive.
  5. The prize will be delivered to the winner within 10 (ten) business days of confirmation of a correct and valid email address by the participant.
  6. Upon dispatch of the prize to the winner, all liability, responsibility, and benefit of the prize shall pass to the winner.
  7. The prize voucher will be valid for a period of eighteen (18) months.
  8. It is the responsibility of the winner to redeem the respective voucher before the expiration of such voucher.
  9. Car Service City shall retain the right to resolve any disputes which may arise from these terms and conditions and shall be the finale arbitrator in such disputes and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  10. All disputes should be directed to Head Office Complaints Department at the following email address: info@ccholdings.co.za.
  11. All personal information obtained by Car Service City by virtue of the consumer’s participation in this promotion is protected as set out in our privacy and security policy and processed in terms of the regulations as set out in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
  12. Any consumer who elects to participate in the “December Holiday” promotion by virtue of such actions, acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions contained herein and Car Service City’s general terms and conditions as contained on the website.
  13. The “December Holiday” promotion is open to all participants who are NOT close relatives, alternatively closely connected with Car Service City or any member of the organisation.
  14. The “December Holiday” promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  15. The “December Holiday” promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with; Takealot, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media network. Participants are providing the required personal information to Car Service City and not to any other third party.
  16. Car Service City shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting the amended terms and conditions to the Car Service City webpage.
  17. Car Service City reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen event/s or any actual or unanticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Car Service City’s control.
