TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion advertisement, notice, or pamphlet, received via the website, social media, or in person, merely constitutes an invitation by Car Service City for the consumer to participate in the promotion.
2. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotional offer shall run from Friday 1 August 2025 to Friday 29 August 2025. It shall NOT be available at any other time.
3. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotional offer will be available on the Car Service City Facebook and Instagram platforms and applicable to all female customers, exclusive of male customers.
HOW DOES IT WORK
4. Complete the following steps to stand a chance to win one (1) of four (4) Fieldbar Coolers:
- Comment on the official campaign post with a short story about one (1) of the following themes:
- A woman who supported or inspired you.
- Car advice received for fellow women driver.
- A moment of independence or strength behind the wheel
- Tag two (2) friends in the comment.
- Follow @carservicecitysa on the platform (Facebook or Instagram) where you commented.
PRIZES
5. Four (4) lucky participants will be randomly selected to win one (1) of four (4) Fieldbar Cooler
- The colour of the Fieldbar Cooler may differ from the version shown in promotional artwork. Colours are subject to availability and may vary due to supplier stock or display representation. No exchanges or correspondence regarding colour variation will be entered into.
6. At the end of each week the top five (5) entries will be selected, whereafter a single winner will be randomly drawn.
7. The lucky winners will be announced on each Monday after the random draw during the “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotional offer period, starting on 11 August 2025.
8. All winners will be announced on the Car Service City’s Facebook and Instagram social media platforms.
GENERAL
9. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion is restricted to participants who reside within the Republic of South Africa.
10. Participation in the “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion is NOT subject to any entrance fee or administrative costs.
11. Upon a winner being announced and contacted directly by Car Service City, it shall be the responsibility of the selected winner to:
- Within twenty-four (24) hours to contact, respond, and/or provide Car Service City with acknowledgement/acceptance of being selected as a winner, making use of the appropriate social media platform; and
- Ensure that Car Service City possess a valid and correct physical address whereby the winner will accept delivery of the prize.
12. Should an announced winner fail to contact, respond, and/or provide Car Service City with acknowledgement/acceptance of being selected as a winner within the twenty-four (24) hour period as set out above, such winner will automatically forfeit the entitlement to such prize for which the winner has been selected to receive.
13. The prize will be delivered to the winner within 10 (ten) business days of confirmation of a correct and valid physical address by the selected winner.
14. Upon dispatch of the prize to the selected winner, all liability, responsibility, and benefit of the prize shall pass to the selected winner.
15. It is the responsibility of the participant to follow the appropriate steps as set out above and to comply with any further requests made by Car Service City, failure to do so may result in the participant forfeiting ant entitlement to any prize.
16. By participating in the “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion participants acknowledge and consent to Car Service City resharing and republication of the content of the participant’s entry.
17. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion is limited to one (1) Fieldbar Cooler per selected winner.
18. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotional Fieldbar Cooler or the value thereof shall not be applicable to or redeemable with regards to any labour and/or parts associated with or incidental to any work or services undertaken by any Car Service City branch.
19. A customer is only entitled to redeem a single voucher, loyalty benefit, promotional offer, or campaign benefit per invoice or other applicable goods or services at Car Service City.
20. Car Service City shall retain the right to resolve any disputes which may arise from these terms and conditions and shall be the finale arbitrator in such disputes and no correspondence shall be entered into.
21. All disputes should be directed to Head Office Complaints Department at the following email address: info@ccholdings.co.za.
22. All personal information obtained by Car Service City by virtue of the consumer’s participation in this promotion is protected as set out in our privacy and security policy and processed in terms of the regulations as set out in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
23. The participants are providing the required personal information to Car Service City and not to any other party.
24. Any consumer who elects to participate in the “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion by virtue of such actions, acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions contained herein and all other general terms and conditions which may be applicable as published on the Car Service City website or contained in documentation provided to the consumer personally.
25. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion is open to all participants who are NOT close relatives, alternatively closely connected with Car Service City or any member of the organisation.
26. Car Service City reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice should; any unforeseen event/s, any actual or unanticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of Car Service City’s control arises.
27. Car Service City shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting the amended terms and conditions to its webpage.
28. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa.
29. The “You’ve got this, Girl!” promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other Social Network.
